In the obsidian halls of the Nether Citadel, the ancient Succubus Queen Lilith paced before her towering throne. The air itself trembled with her impatience. For centuries she had ruled the succubi with velvet cruelty and insatiable hunger, feeding on the lust of mortals until their souls crumbled to ash. But now a rogue archangel—Zariel, once a servant of the heavens—had declared war on both infernal courts, seeking to purge every creature of desire from the mortal plane.
She needed an ally. She needed the one being she despised and craved in equal measure.
With a flick of her clawed fingers, Lilith tore open a rift in the fabric of the citadel. Sulfurous wind howled through as Asmodeus, Incubus King, stepped through. He was magnificent and terrible: seven feet of corded muscle wrapped in obsidian-black skin that shimmered like oil, massive leathery wings folded against his back, and curling ram horns that gleamed like polished onyx. His golden eyes burned with mocking amusement as they locked onto her.
“Lilith,” he purred, voice like velvet dragged over broken glass. “You summon me after three hundred years of spitting venom at my name. This must be dire.”
She stopped pacing. Her long, sinuous tail lashed behind her. “Zariel has already burned three of my temples and enslaved two of my high priestesses. He means to scour the mortal world clean of lust. Without your legions and mine united, he will succeed. Even we cannot stand alone.”
Asmodeus circled her slowly, the click of his cloven hooves echoing. The razor-sharp tension between them crackled like lightning. They had been rivals since the first dawn of sin—two monarchs of desire forever testing which could corrupt more souls, which could wring more pleasure from the universe. Now the stakes had grown apocalyptic.
“And what price would you pay for my cock and my army, my sweet enemy?” he asked, stopping close enough that the heat rolling off his body licked across her crimson skin.
Lilith’s full lips curved. Without hesitation she reached up and unclasped the silken robes that clung to her voluptuous form. The black fabric slithered down her body like liquid night, pooling at her feet. She stood before him utterly bare.
