Divorcée Next Door: Festival Flames Ignite Her First Taste

Divorcée Naomi gets seduced and eaten out by her hot lesbian neighbor at a backyard festival.

I still can’t quite believe I signed the papers and moved three states away all in the same month. Thirty-eight, freshly divorced, and suddenly the owner of a neat little craftsman on a quiet suburban cul-de-sac where the lawns stay clipped and the porches boast matching rocking chairs. My name is Naomi, and the silence of that house felt louder than any argument I’d ever had with my ex. I told myself the move was about starting over, about claiming a life that finally belonged only to me. What I didn’t expect was the woman next door.

Marisol lived in the house with the wild garden and the string lights already half-draped across the fence even though it was only mid-afternoon. Twenty-nine, openly lesbian, and a tattoo artist who worked out of a studio downtown—she made no secret of any of it. The first time she leaned over the shared fence to introduce herself, ink scrolled down both arms in vivid color: roses choking thorns, a dagger through a heart, script I couldn’t read from that distance. Her dark hair was cropped short on one side and longer on the other, tucked behind an ear pierced three times. She had the kind of confident grin that made my stomach dip in a way I hadn’t felt in years.

“Neighborhood music festival tonight,” she’d said, voice low and warm like she’d already decided I was coming. “My backyard. Bring whatever you drink. Or nothing. We’ve got plenty.”

I almost said no. Divorcées who’ve just unpacked their last box are supposed to order takeout and cry into it, right? Instead I heard myself agree, and the way her eyes lit up—brown and sharp and openly appreciative as they dragged over the simple sundress I’d thrown on—made heat crawl up my neck.

By seven the string lights were glowing like captured fireflies. Marisol’s backyard had transformed: a small stage at the far end where a local band was already tuning, coolers packed with wine and beer, folding tables groaning under takeout containers and bags of chips. Neighbors milled around in summer clothes, laughter rising with the first chords of something twangy and loose. I arrived with a bottle of red I barely remembered grabbing, heart hammering harder than it should have for a casual block party.

Marisol spotted me instantly. She wore a black tank that showed off the full sleeves of ink and cut-offs that sat low on her hips. A thin silver chain disappeared into the valley between her breasts. She crossed the grass barefoot, took the bottle from my hands, and let her fingers brush mine longer than necessary.

“Naomi. Look at you. That dress is doing criminal things.”

I laughed, too breathless. “I wasn’t sure what people wear to these.”

“You wear whatever makes you feel like staying.” She popped the cork with easy strength and poured two generous glasses, pressing one into my palm. The wine was cool, dark, already softening the edges of my nerves. “Come on. I want you meeting people before the band gets loud and nobody can hear names.”

We moved through the crowd together. She introduced me as “my new neighbor who’s going to make this street infinitely more interesting,” and every time she said it her hand settled somewhere—small of my back, brush of knuckles against mine, a casual squeeze of my elbow that sent sparks racing up my arm. Playful banter came easy once the second glass hit. She teased me about the moving boxes still visible through my kitchen window; I shot back that at least my garden didn’t look like a tattoo flash sheet had exploded across it. She threw her head back and laughed, throat long and inviting, and something low in my belly clenched.

“You’ve got a mouth on you,” she murmured, leaning close enough that I caught the clean scent of her skin under a hint of whatever spicy oil she used. “I like that.”

The band kicked into a slower groove as dusk deepened. Couples and singles drifted onto the makeshift dance floor of packed earth and scattered rugs. Marisol drained her glass, set it on a table, and held out her hand without asking.

“Dance with me.”

It wasn’t a question. I let her pull me into the soft glow of the string lights. The music wrapped around us—bass thumping gentle, guitar sliding sweet. She didn’t keep polite distance. One warm hand settled at the small of my back, fingers splaying possessively over the thin fabric of my dress; the other clasped mine and drew it against her chest so I felt the steady beat of her heart. We swayed. My bare thighs brushed hers with every shift. I was suddenly, vividly aware of how long it had been since anyone had held me like this—like they wanted the contact, like they were cataloguing the shape of me.

“You’re tense,” she said against my ear, breath stirring the fine hairs there. “Divorce hangover?”

“Something like that.” My voice came out huskier than I intended. “I forgot what it felt like to be looked at.”

Marisol’s laugh was quiet, private. She guided our bodies closer until my breasts pressed lightly to hers and I could feel the heat of her through two thin layers of cotton. “I’ve been looking since you dragged that first box up the walk. Tall, a little lost, mouth made for trouble. Hard not to notice.”

Heat flooded my face, my chest, lower. The wine hummed in my veins. I should have stepped back, made a joke, found someone safer to talk to. Instead I let my free hand settle on her waist, feeling the tight muscle under inked skin, the flare of her hip. We turned slowly under the lights. Every brush of her thigh between mine sent another pulse of want curling deep. I’d never been with a woman—never let myself imagine it beyond fleeting, private flashes—but standing here with Marisol’s scent in my nose and her body moving like she already knew the rhythm of mine, the curiosity felt less like a question and more like a live wire.

“You’re good at this,” I managed.

“At dancing? Or at making newly single neighbors forget how to breathe?”

I swallowed. “Both, apparently.”

Her thumb stroked once along my spine, deliberate. “Good. Breathing’s overrated when the night’s just getting started.” She eased back enough to meet my eyes. In the golden light her pupils were wide, lips parted, the tip of her tongue wetting the lower one like she was already tasting something. “Tell me if I’m reading this wrong, Naomi. But the way you’re looking at me right now doesn’t feel very neighborly.”

My pulse thundered in my throat, between my legs. Around us the festival continued—laughter, clink of bottles, the band sliding into another song—but it all felt distant, muffled by the charged air between us. I could have laughed it off. I could have blamed the wine. Instead I heard the truth leave my mouth, soft and startled and hungry.

“You’re not reading it wrong.”

Marisol’s smile turned slower, darker, full of promise. Her hand at my back pressed me flush again, and this time there was no mistaking the way her hips rolled against mine in time with the music, the warm friction that made my breath catch. She dipped her head so her mouth nearly brushed the hinge of my jaw.

“Then keep dancing with me,” she whispered. “We’ve got all night, and I’ve got a dozen filthy ideas about what that mouth of yours might do when nobody’s watching.”

The string lights swayed above us. Wine warmed my blood. And every playful brush of her body against mine wound the tension tighter, promising more—so much more—before the festival lights ever dimmed.

The band played one last lazy encore while the string lights flickered lower, and little by little the backyard emptied. Coolers were drained, folding chairs stacked, neighbors calling goodnights over the fence. I stayed because Marisol’s hand never left the small of my back, her thumb drawing slow circles through the thin cotton of my sundress like she was already claiming the skin underneath. When the last couple drifted out the gate she turned to me, eyes dark and intent in the half-light.

“Come inside,” she said, voice low enough that it felt like a secret. “Before the night gets away from us.”

I followed her barefoot across the cooling grass and through the back door. Her living room was dim, lit only by a single floor lamp that threw soft amber across low couches and walls covered in framed flash art—roses, daggers, bare women tangled together in ink. The air smelled of her, that spicy oil and clean sweat from dancing. She shut the door with a quiet click that sealed us in, then turned and looked at me the way she’d been looking all evening, only now there was no one left to pretend for.

Her fingers found mine again, lingering, sliding up my wrist so her nails traced the inside of my arm. Sparks chased the path. Heated eye contact locked us in place; I couldn’t look away from the hunger openly written across her face.

“Christ, Naomi,” she murmured, stepping closer until the heat of her body washed over mine. “That dress has been torturing me for hours. The way it clings when you move… those long legs, the soft swell of your tits every time you breathe deep. You’re built like every filthy daydream I’ve had since I watched you unpack.” Her free hand rose, hovered, then settled openly on the curve of my hip, squeezing once, deliberate. “I’ve been dying to put my mouth on you.”

My pulse hammered between my legs. I could still feel the ghost of her thigh pressing mine on the dance floor, the roll of her hips that had left me wet and aching. Interior thought spun wild: I’d spent years married to a man who barely looked at me by the end, and now this tattooed goddess was cataloguing my body like it was art she intended to ruin.

“Have you ever been curious?” Marisol asked, voice husky, thumb stroking higher along my waist, brushing the side of my breast through the fabric. “About a woman. About what it would feel like to have soft hands and a soft mouth instead of… everything else you’ve known.”

The question hung between us, thick as the summer air outside. My mouth went dry. I thought of every stolen glance tonight, every accidental-on-purpose brush of her fingers, the way my cunt had clenched when she whispered against my jaw. Curiosity didn’t cover it anymore. It had tipped into full, throbbing need.

“I…” My voice cracked. I licked my lips and tried again, confessional and raw. “I never let myself go there. Not really. But watching you tonight—feeling you against me—God, Marisol, I’ve been wet since you pulled me onto that dance floor. The way you look at me, the way you touch like you already own the right… I’ve never wanted anyone the way I want you right now. It’s all I can think about. Your mouth. Your hands. What you’d do if I let you.”

Her breath left her in a soft, hungry sound. Both hands came up to frame my face, thumbs brushing my lower lip. She pressed closer until my breasts flattened against hers, nipples already tight and sensitive through two layers of cotton. The silver chain between her collarbones cool against my flushed skin.

“Say it plain,” she whispered, forehead nearly touching mine, eyes locked. “Tell me you want me. Right fucking now.”

I didn’t hesitate. The words spilled out, eager and shaking with relief. “I want you. I want your hands under this dress, I want your mouth between my legs, I want to know what a woman tastes like when she’s this turned on for me. I want you so badly I can barely stand still.”

Marisol’s smile was pure wicked delight. “Good girl. Because I’ve been aching to get on my knees for you since you first walked over with that bottle. I want to peel this dress off and bury my face in your cunt until you’re shaking and dripping down my chin. I want to feel you come on my tongue and know I’m the first woman who’s ever done it.” Her hips rolled once against mine, deliberate friction that made my clit throb. “We’re both done pretending this is neighborly. I want you naked and open for me tonight. You want that too?”

“Yes,” I breathed, hands fisting in the back of her tank, dragging her even closer. “Right now. Please.”

She kissed me then—not soft, not testing, but open-mouthed and claiming, tongue sliding against mine with the same confidence she’d shown on the dance floor. I moaned into it, tasting wine and heat and the promise of everything filthy she’d whispered earlier. Her hands dropped to my ass, cupping and squeezing, pulling me hard against the firm plane of her body so I felt every ridge of muscle, every shift of her tits. One thigh slipped between mine and pressed up, giving me something solid to grind against while the kiss deepened.

When we finally broke for air we were both breathing hard. Her lips were swollen, pupils blown wide. She walked me backward until my calves hit the couch, never letting the contact break—fingers still roaming my waist, my ribs, the undersides of my breasts like she was mapping territory she intended to conquer. The dim light painted her ink in shadows and gold; I wanted to trace every line with my tongue.

“Sit,” she ordered softly, guiding me down. She stayed standing a moment longer, looking down at me sprawled on her couch in the rumpled sundress, legs slightly parted because I couldn’t stand to keep them closed. “Fuck, look at you. Flushed and ready and still trying to act like you’re not dripping for it. I’m going to take my time once I get started—kiss every inch, suck on those pretty nipples until they’re red, then spread you open and eat you like I’ve been starving.” Her hand drifted to the hem of her own tank, teasing it up just enough to flash the soft skin of her stomach and the bottom curve of one breast. “But first I need to hear it one more time. Tell me this isn’t the wine talking. Tell me you want my mouth on your pussy tonight.”

I reached for her, hooked my fingers in her belt loops, and tugged until she straddled my lap, knees bracketing my hips. The position pressed her cunt right against my belly; I could feel how hot she was even through the cut-offs. My hands slid up under the tank, palms skating over bare skin and the tight points of her nipples. She arched into the touch with a low curse.

“It’s not the wine,” I said, voice wrecked already. “I’ve wanted this since you leaned over the fence this afternoon. I want you to fuck me with your fingers and your tongue until I forget my own name. I want to taste you after. I want everything you’re offering, Marisol. Right now. Before either of us talks ourselves out of it.”

She groaned and kissed me again, harder, grinding down so the seam of her shorts rubbed my stomach while my thumbs rolled her nipples. The living room felt smaller, hotter, charged with the sound of our breathing and the wet slide of mouths. Outside the last of the festival noise had faded to nothing; inside there was only the creak of the couch and the hungry little noises I couldn’t stop making every time her tongue stroked mine.

Her hands were under my dress now, palms gliding up bare thighs, higher, higher, until fingertips brushed the soaked fabric of my panties. She broke the kiss just long enough to look me in the eye, both of us panting.

“Jesus, you’re soaked. All for me.” She rubbed slow circles right over my clit through the lace, watching my face fall open. “I’m going to make you come so hard you scream. Then I’m going to keep going until you beg me to stop—and even then I might not.” Another deliberate press of her fingers. “You ready for that, Naomi? Ready for your first real taste of what a woman can do to you?”

I nodded frantically, hips already lifting into her hand, chasing more pressure. “Yes—fuck—yes. Don’t stop. Don’t you dare stop.”

She smiled that dark, promising smile again and leaned in to mouth along my throat, teeth grazing, tongue soothing. Her fingers kept working me through the panties while her other hand shoved the straps of my dress down my shoulders, freeing my breasts to the cool air and her hungry stare. I was trembling, dripping, every nerve lit up and screaming for the next step—for her mouth lower, for the moment she’d finally peel the lace aside and give me what we’d both just admitted we needed.

The night was still young. The couch was wide. And neither of us had any intention of leaving this dim living room until the tension finally broke into something wetter, louder, and far more permanent.

Her fingers kept circling my clit through the soaked lace, relentless, while her mouth claimed mine again in a hungry kiss that stole what little breath I had left. Marisol’s tongue thrust deep, tasting of wine and need, and I moaned into it, hips jerking up to chase the pressure. She broke away only long enough to shove me fully onto my back against the couch cushions, her body following, knees bracketing my thighs as she pinned me there.

“Stay,” she ordered, voice rough, and I obeyed without thinking, sprawled and panting while she knelt up and peeled her own tank over her head. Ink bloomed across her collarbones and the full curves of her breasts—dark roses curling under one nipple, a dagger hilt disappearing into the soft underside of the other. Her nipples were already tight, dark peaks I ached to taste. She tossed the shirt aside and leaned down, catching the straps of my sundress and dragging them the rest of the way off my arms, then working the fabric down over my hips and thighs until it puddled on the floor. My panties went next, peeled slowly down my legs so the cool air hit my bare, dripping cunt. I was completely naked under her gaze, thirty-eight and newly divorced and trembling like a virgin, and she looked at me like I was the only thing in the world worth devouring.

“Fuck, Naomi,” she breathed, hands sliding up my ribs to cup my breasts. “These have been driving me crazy all night.” She lowered her head and took one nipple into her mouth, sucking hard, tongue flicking the tip while her fingers rolled the other. Sparks shot straight to my clit. I arched off the couch with a broken cry, fingers plunging into her short-and-long hair, holding her there as she switched sides, licking and biting just hard enough to leave me throbbing. She worshipped them slowly, thoroughly—sucking until they were wet and swollen, scraping teeth over the sensitive undersides, burying her face between them to inhale my scent. Every pull of her mouth made my pussy clench around nothing, juice leaking down onto the cushions.

“Marisol—please—” I begged, confessional and raw. “I need more. I need your mouth lower.”

She lifted her head, lips shiny, eyes dark with triumph. “Greedy already. I love it.” One last lingering suck on my nipple, then she slid down my body, hands spreading my thighs wide. I felt exposed, open, every fold of my cunt on display for her. She settled between my legs on her stomach, shoulders forcing my knees further apart, and just looked for a long moment. “So pink and wet. All for me. Your first time with a woman and you’re already dripping like this.” Her thumbs parted my lips, exposing my swollen clit. “I’m going to ruin you for anyone else.”

Then her mouth was on me.

Hot, skilled, devastating. She licked a long stripe from my entrance up to my clit, humming at the taste, then sealed her lips around the aching bud and sucked. My hips bucked hard; she pinned them down with one forearm and kept going, tongue swirling in tight circles, flicking the underside, then spearing down to thrust inside me. Two fingers joined a second later, sliding deep into my soaked pussy, curling immediately against that spot that made stars burst behind my eyes. She fucked me with them in steady, filthy strokes while her tongue worked my clit without mercy—sucking, lapping, alternating pressure until I was sobbing her name.

“Oh God—Marisol—right there—don’t stop—” Interior thoughts shattered into pure sensation: the wet sounds of her eating me, the stretch of her fingers, the way her free hand reached up to pinch my nipple in time with every thrust. I’d never felt anything like it—no man had ever gone down on me with this hunger, this precision. She read every twitch of my body, every gasp, adjusting to keep me right on the edge until I couldn’t hold back. The orgasm crashed through me hard and sudden, cunt clamping around her fingers, thighs shaking as I came on her tongue with a raw scream. Juice flooded her mouth; she moaned and kept licking me through it, drawing it out until I was whimpering, oversensitive, twitching.

She crawled up my body while I was still shaking, kissing me so I tasted myself on her lips—musky and sweet. “That’s one,” she murmured against my mouth. “Now it’s your turn to make me come. I want that curious mouth of yours on my cunt.”

I didn’t need convincing. Need roared back through me, sharper now that I’d shattered once. I pushed at her shoulders until she rolled onto her back, then scrambled to strip her cut-offs and the simple black panties underneath. Her pussy was bare, slick and flushed, a neat strip of dark hair above the glistening folds. The scent of her hit me—spicy and pure female arousal—and my mouth watered. I dove in without hesitation, spreading her thighs and burying my face between them. First taste was electric: salty-sweet, hotter than I imagined. I licked clumsily at first, then found a rhythm, flat tongue dragging over her clit while two fingers pushed inside her tight heat.

Marisol groaned loud, hips lifting. “Fuck yes—just like that—curl them—oh shit—” She sat up partially, grabbed my hair, then shifted with sudden purpose. “Sixty-nine. Now. I need to ride that pretty face while you finger me.”

She twisted us so she straddled my head, knees on either side of my ears, her dripping cunt hovering right over my mouth. I grabbed her hips and pulled her down fully, tongue spearing up into her as she leaned forward and took my still-throbbing pussy back into her mouth. The 69 locked us together—her grinding down hard, fucking my face with short rolls of her hips while I thrust my fingers deep and sucked her clit. She mirrored me, three fingers now plunging into me, tongue lashing in perfect counterpoint. We moved like animals, wet and loud, the couch creaking under us. Her moans vibrated straight into my cunt; mine hummed against hers. I could barely breathe, face soaked in her juices, but I didn’t care—I ate her ravenously, fingers curling to hit that spot while my other hand reached around to squeeze her ass and keep her grinding.

“Naomi—gonna come—don’t stop fingering me—” she gasped against my pussy, then sucked my clit hard enough to make me see white. I doubled my efforts, tongue and fingers working in frantic tandem, and felt her walls clamp down. She shattered first, thighs locking around my head, cunt pulsing and flooding my mouth as she cried out my name. The feel of her coming, the taste, the way she kept licking me even through her orgasm, dragged me right over with her. My second climax ripped through harder than the first—body locking, pussy gushing around her fingers while I moaned into her folds, both of us grinding and shaking through the mutual wave until it finally crested and left us boneless.

She collapsed sideways off me after a long minute, breathing ragged, one leg still draped over my chest. We lay tangled, slick with sweat and come, the dim living room thick with the smell of sex. My lips were swollen, chin shiny with her release; hers were the same. I turned my head and met her eyes, still dark with leftover hunger.

“Jesus Christ,” I whispered, confessional and wrecked. “I never… that was…”

Marisol’s hand found mine, lacing our fingers, but her smile was pure wicked promise as she rolled closer and kissed me slow, sharing the mixed taste of us. “We’re just getting started, Naomi. Night’s young. Couch is wide. And I’ve still got a dozen more filthy ideas before I let you crawl back next door.” Her free hand drifted down between my thighs again, lazy fingertips circling my oversensitive clit until I twitched and gasped. “Think you can take another round? Because I’m nowhere near done tasting you.”

Her fingers kept circling, lazy but relentless, and the oversensitive throb between my legs sparked right back into hungry need. I arched into her touch with a broken laugh, still tasting her on my tongue, still slick and open from everything we’d just done.

“Another round,” I whispered, confessional and raw. “God, Marisol, I didn’t know it could feel like this. Like my whole body is lit up and starving for more of you.”

She grinned that wicked, inked smile and kissed me deep, sharing the mixed musk of us, then rolled us so I was on top, straddling her hips. My bare cunt settled against hers—hot, wet folds sliding together in a filthy grind that made us both moan. I braced my hands on her tattooed breasts, thumbs rolling her dark nipples while I rocked, coating her in my fresh arousal. The silver chain between her collarbones glinted; I leaned down and caught it between my teeth for a second before sucking a mark onto the soft skin just above one rose tattoo.

“Fuck, look at you riding me,” she groaned, hands clamping on my ass, guiding the roll of my hips so our clits kissed with every pass. “First night with a woman and you’re already so greedy for it. Grind harder. Make yourself come on my pussy.”

I did. Slow at first, savoring the slick friction, the way her folds parted for mine, then faster, desperate, thighs burning as I chased the pressure. Interior thoughts spun: years of polite, forgettable sex with my ex, and now this—my neighbor’s cunt slick under me, her nails digging crescents into my cheeks, her voice husky with praise. Juice smeared between us, wet sounds filling the dim room. She slipped two fingers between our bodies, pressed them against my clit, and rubbed in tight circles while I rode. The dual sensation—her heat below, that relentless press—had me shaking in minutes.

“Marisol—I’m close—”

“Come for me. Right on me. Let me feel it.”

I shattered with a sob, cunt pulsing, gushing fresh slick down over her mound as the orgasm ripped through me in long, shuddering waves. She held me through it, then flipped us again with easy strength, spreading my thighs wide and diving back between them. Her tongue lapped up every drop, fucking into me with wet, greedy thrusts while three fingers stretched me open, curling hard against that spot that made my vision white out. I came a second time almost immediately, thighs clamping around her head, fingers fisted in her hair, screaming her name until my voice cracked.

She didn’t stop. She licked me through the aftershocks, then crawled up and straddled my face again, lowering her dripping cunt onto my mouth. “Your turn to finish me. Tongue and fingers. Make it filthy.”

I ate her like I was starving—flat tongue dragging over her swollen clit, two fingers plunging deep, then three, curling and scissoring while she ground down hard. Her taste flooded me, spicy and sweet and pure woman. She braced on the arm of the couch, hips rolling in short, desperate fucks against my face, moaning filthy encouragements. “Just like that—suck my clit—fuck, Naomi, your mouth was made for this—” I sealed my lips around the bud and sucked in time with the thrust of my fingers; her walls clamped, she cried out, and she came hard, flooding my tongue, thighs quaking, inked body arched and trembling above me.

We collapsed tangled after, sweat-slick and panting, my chin shiny with her release, her mouth shiny with mine. The couch cushions were ruined beneath us. For a long minute there was only the sound of our breathing and the distant chirp of crickets outside.

Marisol pulled me into a slow, tender kiss then—soft where everything before had been hungry, lips lingering, tongue gentle. She tasted like us. When she eased back, her brown eyes were warm, almost soft in the amber lamp light.

“This is just the beginning of your sexual awakening,” she whispered against my mouth, voice low and certain. “You feel that, don’t you? How your body opens for me. How wet you get the second I look at you. I’m going to teach you every filthy thing you’ve ever secretly wanted, Naomi. Fingers, tongue, toys, my whole hand if you beg pretty enough. And you’re going to take it all and ask for more.”

I nodded, throat tight with something that felt bigger than lust. “I want that. I want you. Tonight was… Christ. I never knew.”

She smiled, brushed damp hair from my forehead, and tugged a soft throw blanket over our naked bodies. We shifted until we lay tangled—my head on her tattooed chest, one of her thighs hooked over mine, her fingers tracing idle circles on my hip. The living room smelled thickly of sex and her spicy oil. Outside, the string lights still glowed faintly over the empty backyard.

“Stay,” she murmured. “We’re already planning to sneak away for more the very next night. My studio closes early tomorrow. I’ll leave the back gate unlocked. You bring that curious mouth and nothing else. I’ll have you bent over my workbench before the sun’s fully down.”

I laughed softly, exhausted and glowing, already half-asleep in the cradle of her arms. “Deal. God, Marisol… I think I just found the real reason I moved three states away.”

Her arm tightened around me. We drifted, limbs heavy, breath evening out, bodies still bare and pressed close under the blanket. The last conscious thought I had was the plan—tomorrow night, her studio, more of this heat—and the quiet certainty that my new life had just cracked wide open in the best possible way.

Sleep took us both.

A sharp, insistent pounding on the front door jerked me awake sometime later. Blue-and-red light flashed faintly through the living-room curtains. Marisol sat up fast beside me, blanket falling to her waist, inked breasts bare, eyes suddenly alert.

“Open up! Police!” a man’s voice barked from the porch. “We need to speak with the resident about a noise complaint and possible disturbance.”
