Ex's Daughter Slowly Seduces Me at University

Ex's grown daughter seduces me.

14 min read October 29, 2026New

Xavier was forty, and the drive to campus had given him too much time to replay the last month. Talia, fifty-three, had sat across from him at her kitchen table and told him, without raising her voice, that she was done. She had met Damon, fifty-eight, at a dinner party, and she wanted a quieter life than Xavier seemed able to give her. Damon liked early dinners, predictable weekends, and conversations that never went anywhere unexpected. Xavier had not begged. He had nodded, packed the shirts he kept in her closet, and left. What he had not been willing to lose was Adriana.

Adriana was twenty-one, Talia’s daughter from a marriage that had ended years before Xavier ever walked into their lives. He was not her father and had never been her stepfather. He had been the man dating her mother, and only after Adriana was already in college, already an adult with her own keys and her own opinions, had the two of them settled into a friendship that did not run through Talia at all. She texted him when a professor was cruel. He sent her playlists when she could not sleep. When the breakup happened, she had written, Come see me. I still want you in my life. So he had thrown a duffel in the back seat and driven four hours with the windows down, telling himself this was only a visit between friends.

She was waiting on the brick path outside her residence hall, and the first look at her undid the careful story he had been telling himself. The late sun caught the sheen of her dark hair where it fell loose past her shoulders. She wore a black skirt that stopped high on her thighs and a thin white top that showed the shape of her when she shifted her weight. He had seen her in sweatshirts and jeans on holidays. He had never seen her dressed like she wanted to be looked at. She saw him and smiled, slow and bright, and crossed the last few steps before he could decide what kind of hello was safe.

“You made it,” she said, and put her arms around his neck. Her body pressed the length of his, warm through cotton, and she held on a beat longer than friendship asked for. Her cheek brushed his jaw. “God, you look good. Mom’s an idiot.”

He laughed because his voice felt unreliable. “Hi, Adriana.”

“Hi.” She leaned back just far enough to study his face, hands still resting on his shoulders. Her eyes were dark and steady, and they did not flick away the way they used to when a silence got too long. “Four hours in a car for me. I’m not wasting that on polite small talk.”

They walked toward the building. The campus smelled like cut grass and coffee, students moving in loose groups, all of them adults with backpacks and tired faces. Adriana kept finding reasons to touch him. Her hand closed on his forearm when she pointed out the library. Her fingers settled at the small of his back when a cluster of people forced them closer on the path. She brushed something imaginary from his shoulder and let her palm stay there, heat bleeding through his shirt. Each contact was small. Together they made his skin feel too tight for the afternoon.

“Roommates around?” he asked, reaching for something ordinary.

“Gone until Sunday. A conference, or a boyfriend. I stopped tracking which.” She glanced up at him, mouth curved. “So it’s just us. I figured you’d rather not do a hotel. The couch pulls out if you want it. Or we can figure something else out.”

The phrase sat between them like a hand on a doorknob. He did not open it. He also did not look away.

Her room was small and lived-in: a bed with a gray comforter, a desk stacked with books, a string of warm lights along one wall, a narrow window that looked onto trees. She kicked off her shoes and sat on the edge of the mattress, patting the space beside her. When he sat, her bare knee touched his through the rip in his jeans. She did not move it.

“Tell me about Damon,” she said. “I want to hear how boring he is from someone who has to live with the comparison.”

He told her. Early dinners. Golf scores. A man who treated conversation like a checklist. Adriana listened with her chin tipped, and every so often her knee pressed a little more firmly against his. When he finished, she shook her head.

“She had you,” she said, quiet. “Forty, and you still look at people like you’re actually interested. And she picked fifty-eight and predictable. I don’t get it.”

“People want what they want.”

“Some people want the wrong thing.” Her eyes held his. The lights along the wall made the room feel smaller than it was. “I’m glad you came anyway. I’ve missed you. Not the version of you that had to be careful around Mom. Just you.”

They got dinner at a place off campus, a booth in the back, and she sat on his side instead of across from him. Her thigh stayed against his the whole meal. She stole fries from his plate and licked salt from her thumb without seeming to notice what it did to him. On the walk back she hooked her arm through his and leaned her head briefly against his shoulder, hair smelling like something clean and warm. By the time they reached her door again, his pulse was a low, insistent thing he could not talk himself out of.

He took the pullout couch. She changed in the bathroom and came out in an oversized shirt that ended at the tops of her thighs, bare legs catching the low light. She paused by the couch, one hand on the armrest, close enough that he could see the fine line of her collarbone.

“If you need anything,” she said, “I’m right there.”

“I’ll be fine.”

She smiled like she did not believe him, and like she did not mind. “Sleep well, Xavier.”

He did not. The couch was narrow and the room held the faint trace of her, and every time he closed his eyes he saw the skirt, the hand on his back, the way she had looked at him across the booth as if she were deciding something and had already mostly decided. He lay awake until the lights under the door went out, aching in a way he had no right to name, and told himself that tomorrow he would be a friend and nothing else.

Morning made a liar of him.

She came back from the shower in a towel, hair wet, and crossed the room for clothes with an ease that felt deliberate. The towel slipped an inch at her chest when she bent to open a drawer. She caught it, glanced at him over her shoulder, and did not apologize. “Sorry. I forget you’re not used to dorm life.”

“You’re fine,” he said, and heard how rough it came out.

She dressed in front of the closet with her back mostly to him, a soft top, another short skirt, nothing that tried very hard to be innocent. When she turned, she caught him looking and held the look instead of breaking it. Color rose in her cheeks, but she did not glance away.

“Coffee?” she asked.

“Please.”

They took it to a bench under the trees, paper cups warm in their hands, the morning still cool. She sat close enough that their shoulders touched. For a while they talked about her classes, a paper she was behind on, a professor who graded like he hated joy. Then she went quiet, studying the path, and when she spoke again her voice had changed.

“Can I say something that might make this weird?”

“You can say anything.”

“You’re better than both of them.” She turned her face up to his. Sun caught in her wet hair. “Better than Damon, obviously. But better than the men Mom dated before you, too. I watched her choose people who talked over her or bored her or treated her like a project. You never did that. You listened. You were kind without making it a performance. I used to sit at that table and think she had no idea what she had.”

His chest went tight. “Adriana.”

“I’m not done.” She set her cup down and shifted so her knee pressed his again, deliberate this time. “I didn’t feel any of this when I was a kid. I need you to know that. I was eighteen when it started. A student. Grown. I came home for a weekend and you were in the kitchen making coffee, and I looked at you and something in me just—turned. That was three years ago. I’ve wanted you since then. Years, Xavier. Not a crush I grew out of. I kept it to myself because you were with her, and because I didn’t want to wreck the one good adult friendship I had. But she’s gone. She chose someone else. And you’re here, and I can’t pretend I don’t feel it when you look at me like that.”

The campus moved around them, distant and ordinary. He stared at her and felt the last of his resistance thin out like paper in rain. He had spent the night telling himself this was one-sided tension he would not act on. Hearing her say it out loud, hearing the years named as adult years, hearing the want in her voice match the want he had been refusing to examine since the moment she hugged him yesterday, undid the refusal.

“I’ve been fighting it since I got here,” he said. His hand found her knee, and she covered it with hers, warm and sure. “Maybe longer than that, if I’m honest, though I wouldn’t let myself look at it while I was with her. You’re twenty-one. I’m forty. Your mother just left me. Every sensible version of this says I should get in the car.”

“Do you want to get in the car?”

“No.” The word came out rough. “I want you. I can’t fight how badly I need you. Not if you mean it.”

“I mean it.” She stood and tugged him up by the hand, eyes bright, mouth soft. “Come back to the room. Don’t make me seduce you on a bench where half the English department can see.”

They barely spoke on the walk. Her fingers stayed laced with his. Inside, she locked the door, turned, and looked at him like the decision had already been made and she was only waiting for him to catch up. He crossed the small space and kissed her.

She opened to it at once, hungry and sure, arms around his neck, body fitting to his with none of yesterday’s pretense of accident. Her mouth was warm. She tasted like coffee and the mint of her toothpaste. He walked her backward until her calves hit the bed, and she laughed against his lips, breathless, then pulled him down with her.

“Yes,” she said, when he paused with his hand at the hem of her top, asking without words. “I want this. I want you. Don’t stop unless I say so, and I’m not going to say so.”

He peeled the top over her head. She wore nothing under it. Her breasts were full in his hands, nipples tightening when his thumbs passed over them, and she arched into the touch with a sound that went straight through him. He kissed down her throat, her chest, took one nipple into his mouth and felt her fingers knot in his hair. She tugged his shirt off and ran her palms over his chest, his stomach, greedy and unhurried, like she had been imagining the map of him and wanted to check every line.

“Pants,” she said, already working at his belt. “Off. I want to see you.”

They shed the rest in a rush of fabric and breathless laughter that turned serious again the moment they were skin to skin. She was wet when he slid a hand between her thighs, slick and hot, and she rocked against his fingers with her forehead pressed to his.

“Inside me,” she whispered. “I don’t want to wait anymore. I’ve waited years.”

He found a condom in his bag because some stubborn practical part of him had packed one without admitting why, and she watched him roll it on with dark, focused eyes, then pushed him back against the pillows and climbed over him. She was beautiful like that, hair falling forward, breasts swaying, thighs spread across his hips. She reached down, lined him up, and sank onto him in one slow, shaking descent.

They both groaned. She was tight and hot around him, taking him inch by inch until she was seated fully, hands braced on his chest, mouth open. For a moment she only breathed, adjusting, eyes half-closed.

“Oh,” she said, soft and wrecked. “You feel—God. Stay right there a second.”

He stayed. His hands found her hips, thumbs stroking the warm skin just above where they were joined. She rolled her hips once, experimentally, and the drag of her around him pulled a curse out of his throat. She smiled at the sound, pleased, and began to ride him.

Slow at first. A deep, unhurried rise and fall, her body learning the angle, her breath catching every time she took him all the way. He watched her, the flex of her thighs, the way her breasts moved, the flush spreading down her chest. His grip on her hips tightened, guiding without forcing, meeting her when she came down. She leaned forward and kissed him, messy and open, still moving, and the kiss broke when a sharper wave of pleasure made her gasp against his mouth.

“Faster,” she said. “I can take it. I want it.”

He held her hips and thrust up as she rode down, and the pace broke open. The bed creaked. Skin met skin in a steady, wet rhythm. She braced a hand on the wall above the pillows and chased it, hair sticking to her neck, moans turning louder, less controlled. He could feel her tightening around him in little pulses, could see the concentration on her face as she chased what she wanted. His own control frayed at the edges. She was twenty-one and sure and taking him like she had every right, and he was forty and done pretending he did not need exactly this.

“Turn over,” he managed. “I want you from behind. If you want that.”

“Yes.” She lifted off him with a shiver, turned, and settled on her hands and knees, looking back over her shoulder. The sight of her like that, back arched, ass tipped up, slick and open for him, nearly undid him before he even touched her again. “Like this. Please. I want to feel all of you.”

He knelt behind her, one hand spreading her, the other guiding himself, and pushed in deep. She cried out, fingers knotting in the gray comforter, and pushed back to meet him. He set a hard, steady rhythm, hips snapping, the sound of it filling the small room. Each thrust seated him fully, and she took it, moaning into the pillow and then turning her face so he could hear her.

“God, yes—like that—deeper.” Her voice broke and came back rougher. “I love feeling a real man inside me. Not some careful, boring nothing. You. All of you. Don’t hold back.”

He didn’t. He gripped her hip with one hand and slid the other up her spine, fucking her in long, deep strokes that made her arms shake. She reached back and clutched his thigh, urging him on, and the words kept spilling out of her, filthy and sweet and certain, how good he felt, how long she had wanted this, how she was not going to last if he kept hitting her there. Sweat gathered at the small of her back. He bent over her and kissed her shoulder, still thrusting, and she turned her head enough to catch his mouth in a clumsy, desperate kiss.

“I’m close,” she gasped. “I want to finish on top. I want to see you when we come.”

He pulled out, chest heaving, and she turned and climbed back over him before he had fully settled against the pillows. She sank down again in one motion, both of them groaning at the return, and this time she did not start slow. She rode him hard, hands on his shoulders, eyes locked on his, chasing it with everything she had. He gripped her hips and drove up into her, meeting every drop of her weight, the angle deep and relentless. Her breasts brushed his chest. Her mouth fell open. He could feel the flutter starting in her, the way she clenched and shook and tried to keep the rhythm anyway.

“Xavier—I’m—oh, I’m coming—”

She broke over him with a shudder that ran the length of her body, thighs clamping his hips, inner muscles gripping him in tight, helpless pulses. The sight of her coming, the sound of his name in her mouth, the heat of her pulling at him, dragged him over with her. He thrust up hard and held her down on him as he came, a rough, shaking release that seemed to empty him out, his forehead pressed to her collarbone, her arms locked around his neck. They shuddered through it together, rocking in smaller and smaller movements until the sharp edge softened and there was only the aftershock, breath and heat and the slow unclenching of her body around his.

She stayed where she was, draped over him, both of them slick with sweat, hearts knocking against each other. He eased out of her carefully, dealt with the condom without letting her go far, and pulled her back down into the tangle of limbs and gray comforter. She kissed him, soft this time, mouth lazy and warm, and he kissed her back the same way, hands stroking the damp line of her spine.

“That,” she murmured against his mouth, “was worth every year I waited.”

“You’re incredible.” He brushed hair off her cheek. His voice was rough and quiet. “I didn’t know I could still feel like that.”

She smiled, small and real, and tucked her face against his throat for a moment before looking up at him again. Her fingers traced idle shapes on his chest. “I want to keep seeing you like this. Not just this weekend. I want you. The talking, the texts, all of it—and this. If you want that too.”

He pulled her closer, fitting her against his side, her leg sliding over his, her heartbeat steady under his palm. The room was warm. The string of lights glowed. Outside, the campus went on being ordinary, and none of it mattered. He had driven here thinking he was visiting a friend after a woman he cared about had chosen a boring safer man. Lying here with Adriana’s mouth still sweet on his, her body loose and trusting against him, he understood, with a clarity that felt like breath after too long underwater, that this unexpected romance was exactly what he had been missing.
