My Wife's Online Crush
wife watches her lesbian spouse seduce her online crush.
I’ve never been the jealous type, not really. Not when Lena’s eyes would linger a second too long on a pretty barista, or when she’d come home flushed from yoga class talking about the instructor’s hands. We’ve always been open like that—my wife and I—married six years, solid as anything, but hungry in ways monogamy never quite satisfied. Still, nothing prepared me for the way my pulse hammered the first time I scrolled through her phone and found the chat with Sophia.
I shouldn’t have looked. I know that. But Lena left it unlocked on the kitchen counter one Tuesday night while she was in the shower, steam fogging the bathroom mirror, and the notification lit up like a dare: Sophia: God, I keep thinking about your mouth. My thumb hovered. Then I opened it.
Thirty-two years old, married to the woman I love more than breath, and there I was standing barefoot on cold tile reading messages that made my thighs press together. Sophia was twenty-eight, a graphic designer who lived three states away, bisexual and blunt about it. They’d met in some design forum months ago. The early stuff was innocent enough—color theory, freelance rates—but for weeks now it had turned filthy. Lena describing exactly how she’d peel Sophia’s jeans down. Sophia sending voice notes I could almost hear through the text: low, husky promises about riding Lena’s face until she came so hard she forgot her own name. I read every line twice, heart slamming, cunt already slick against my underwear. I wanted to watch. Christ, I wanted it so badly my hands shook.
When Lena came out wrapped in a towel, hair dripping, I didn’t confess right away. I waited until we were in bed, her leg thrown over mine, and then I whispered what I’d done. She went still. Then she laughed—soft, surprised, turned on—and rolled on top of me.
“I’ve been hoping you’d find them,” she said against my mouth. “I want you there, baby. I want you to see me take her apart. Or help. Whatever you need.” Her fingers slid between my legs and found me soaked. “Fuck, you’re dripping just thinking about it.”
We came like that, frantic and close, her talking filthy the whole time about Sophia’s freckled shoulders and the way she’d sound moaning both our names. Afterward she texted Sophia right in front of me: My wife knows. She wants in. You still flying out next weekend? The reply came in under a minute. Hell yes. Tell her I can’t wait to taste her too.
The days crawled. I reread the chats every night after Lena fell asleep, one hand between my legs, imagining the three of us. Sophia sent a photo once—nothing full nude, just her in a loose white tank, nipples dark against the fabric, messy bun, sharp collarbones, that confident half-smile like she already knew she had us. I showed Lena. We fucked hard on the living room couch with the phone propped open beside us.
Friday evening she landed. I drove with Lena to pick her up, nerves buzzing under my skin like static. Sophia walked out of baggage claim in black jeans that hugged her hips and a soft gray sweater that slipped off one shoulder. Up close she was even better—warm brown eyes, full mouth already curved like she was in on the joke. She hugged Lena first, long and tight, then turned to me.
“You must be the wife,” she said, voice lower than I’d imagined. Her hand lingered on my arm. “I’ve heard very specific things about you.”
Heat flooded my face. “All true, I hope.”
We took her back to our place. The apartment smelled like the rosemary chicken I’d roasted earlier and the open bottle of red waiting on the counter. We poured generous glasses and settled in the living room—Lena and I on the couch, Sophia curled in the armchair opposite with her legs tucked under her. At first it was easy talk: her flight, a design project that had her stressed, the way our city looked from the sky. But the wine loosened everything. Second glass in, Lena’s bare foot was brushing Sophia’s calf. Third glass, Sophia was describing a threesome she’d had in college with a couple who never stopped staring at each other while they touched her.
“I liked that,” she said, eyes flicking between us. “Being the thing they shared. The way they got off on watching each other with me.”
